Last Saturday, Green Valley showed up at the square. Every member wore a Santa Hat, you can even see Santa driving a race car. We set up a nice winter market for an amazing cause – helping kids in need stay warm this winter!

“We wanted to do something special this year,” said the head of department at Green Valley. “Everyone jumped at the chance to help. It was so great to see our whole team come together like one big family.”

Let’s talk about creativity! Our talented workers set up the coolest booths you could ever imagine. Some were serving fried fries and mushrooms, and our finance colleagues even made sweet soup. The design team made the cutest holiday posters, and our sales team started an awesome dice-throwing game. Kids could take away as many toys as the number they rolled on the dice!

But what was the real highlight? We kept asking the passing customers to join the environmental protection cause and share Green Valley’s commitment to eco-friendly packaging. We showed consumers how bad plastic packaging is and the whole process of biodegradation of eco-friendly packaging. The person in charge said, “We’re teaching people how to make their lives both nice and eco-friendly.”

The reaction from the local people was amazing! Even though it was cold, people kept coming in waves all day long. By sunset, almost everything was sold out, from homemade sweet soup to hand-packed plant pots.

“The really special thing about this event is that every penny goes to children in poor areas,” shared the head of department at Green Valley. “Our team gave their time and skills, did everything they could to make this event a success.”

All the money made from the Winter Market will be donated to a poor children foundation in Sichuan, China. This foundation provides winter necessities for kids in poor communities. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, we’ll help hundreds of children stay cozy this winter!
